Job Overview
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Care Support Workers to join our team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about providing support to young refugees, possessing a deep understanding of the challenges they face and the resources available to assist them.
Key Responsibilities
- Housekeeping support including cleaning, meal prep, cooking, and laundry.
- Collaborate on individualized support plans for each young person.
- Assist in securing suitable accommodation and liaising with authorities.
- Provide ongoing advocacy and referrals.
- Monitor progress and adjust support plans accordingly.
- Coordinate with community organizations and services.
- Maintain accurate and confidential records.
- Participate in meetings, conferences, and training.
- Observe fire safety and emergency procedures.
- Provide medical support and first aid when required.
Qualifications
- Highly motivated with attention to detail.
- Experience with refugees, vulnerable populations, or similar fields.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Organized and able to multitask effectively.
- Familiar with refugee-related policies and services in Ireland.
- Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus.
